Tax Exempt and Blessed

Today was an amazing day. After weeks of checking the mail box, waiting to receive that special letter from the IRS for tax exempt status, I reluctantly decided to call for a status check. The 10 minutes spent on hold felt like an eternity, not knowing if I would be told we were approved, denied or still in limbo. When I finally got through, the woman asked for our EIN number and again, another hold of 3 minutes. Then, the big moment, "On April 11th, your application was approved. You should receive the official letter in the mail up to two weeks after the approval date." I said, "SO, you're saying my organization is officially a 501(c)(3)?". And the lady monotonously says, "Yes.". What a wonderful moment! I am ecstatic and feeling blessed; so blessed.
